South Jakarta - Baznas Bazis Holds Gema Ramadan Event

The South Jakarta administration and Baznas Bazis are holding the Gema Ramadan 1443 Hijri event in the South Jakarta Mayor's Office courtyard, Jalan Prapanca Raya, Kebayoran Baru, on Thursday (4/14).

The event aims to enliven the month of Ramadan while at the same time supporting the Jakarta administration program, filled with several activities such as donations to orphans, poor people, marbot (mosque caretaker), and Koranic teachers.
There is also the distribution of zakat and social charities from officials, civil servants, and businessmen to increase zakat, infaq, and alms (ZIS) in South Jakarta as well as the 2022 Muzaki Istimewa Award.

"The funds will be distributed for the empowerment of the people, especially in South Jakarta," he expressed.
He explained that the funds collected at the Gema Ramadan 1443 Hijriah event more than Rp 5 billion would be used to run several Baznas Bazis programs.
"One of the efforts to collect ZIS is we enter all aspects, be it social, economic, and community-related businesses. But all that can be synergized and we enter into its system. It can bring the Muzaki," he explained.

"Don't let people go hungry. Other programs include the renovation of areas and houses throughout the region, including takjil distribution at 157 points on the Transjakarta buses," he explained.
His party would also distribute funds to 2,100 mustahiq (recipients), starting from Koranic teachers, marbot, dhuafa, orphans, and TPA teachers.
"Every recipient from 10 sub-district will receive Rp 1 million in cash. Hope this is useful," he stated.
